Sarah Dodd

Graduate Teaching Assistant, First-Year Experience 215 Student Services Center

Sarah Dodd is a Graduate Teaching Assistant for West Virginia University's Center for Learning, Advising, and Student Success (CLASS). She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Safety Management. Sarah received her Masters in Sport and Exercise Science from University of Central Florida in 2017 and received her bachelors in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University in 2015. During her time at UCF, she served as a Graduate Assistant for the UCF Human Performance Lab and was an Instructor for the Sport and Exercise Science Department. While attending WVU, she was a member of the Women's Varsity Rowing team and the Club Olympic Weightlifting team. Sarah grew up in Wheeling, WV. Her family now lives in the eastern part of the state in Charles Town, WV. For the past two years, Sarah has been working as a Physical Therapy Tech at a local outpatient clinic in Charles Town, WV. Her passion is working with people and getting to know their stories and using that to connect with them. Sarah looks forward to this exact same aspect within teaching next year at the collegiate level. In her free time, she enjoys anything outdoors, from hiking, swimming, kayaking, rock climbing, etc.
