Rhonda, a Morgantown native and first-generation student, is the Director of First-Year Experience, which is housed within the Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success.  Along with overseeing the department, she leads First-Year Seminar initiatives across the University and collaborates with various departments to provide programming and engagement opportunities for first year students.  Rhonda serves as an instructor for the First-Year Seminar and Academic Mindset courses.

With a background in psychology and educational leadership, she is passionate about supporting student success and development. As a first-generation college student, she understands the transformative power of education and is committed to helping all students navigate their academic journeys, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.
