First-Year Experience - Graduate Teaching Assistant
First-Year Experience serves WVU’s student population by promoting engagement with faculty and peers on topics that promote academic and personal success at West Virginia University and beyond. Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) play a vital role in accomplishing this mission. GTAs within our department teach at least three sections of WVUe 191. Graduate Teaching Assistants should be able to engage students in active and collaborative learning, assist students in developing academic success strategies, and connect students to WVU resources.
