Sarah is from Pocahontas County, West Virginia, and recently graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. This fall, she will begin pursuing a Master of Public Health. As a first-generation college student, during her undergraduate degree she worked to advocate and help first generation, low income and rural students navigate their college experience. Sarah is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel empowered to pursue their goals, build confidence, and make the most of their time at WVU.
